Being persistent. Never been in my lifestyle. That will happen. It’s the stick to the tasks required. I’m lazy and do want to change and become more consistent.
Og Mandino’s reading of Scroll #1, 3 times daily and writing out my DMP and blogging.
“Today I shed my old skin [consistency] which hath, too long…”
Og Mandino, The Greatest Salesman in the World, p. 51.
That line is one of my favorites. It pretty much sums up my life. I start then I quit. I get good at doing something and then quit. It’s a repeating pattern.
I want a new goal, something different that will prevent me from continuing in order to break this pattern.
Just something different, something different to break this habit!!
I pray this course will change my habits.

Thanks for sharing David. Persistence is key, glad you see how new habits can develop this trait:)
Great job David! Thanks for posting – I know I as well as others can identify with your experience.
I meant to share my old “lack of consistency” is my life long recurring theme. And WITH ENTHUSIASM I WILL JACK HAMMER this cement.
Hey David. Welcome to the go/stop club. It is a never-ending challenge. Sometimes, the stick needs a “Snickers” bar to motivate me. 🙂 However, the journey is worth every calorie. Take the high road, and I’ll see you at the top!
Each step there is another chance to choose what you want. Who you are. Welcome to the adventure
Hi David, It’s a whole new adventure for you. We are glad you are here taking that first step to finishing what you start
David, don’t you love hearing that there’s so much hope for our permanently fixing our resistance? Even in Week 1 we have quite a few tools and more will come. I’m already celebrating your success! Cheering you on!
David – thanks so much for being vulnerable and sharing from the heart. Great news! You are in the exact right place to learn the mental skills to replace unwanted habits with ones you choose….and drum roll..the new habit sticks.
Your job – practice the mental exercises as described, regardless if you feel like it or not. Do it now! Deep breaths and have fun with this new adventure!
