The adventure has started and it seems so overwhelming. When I joined the class, I knew there was going to be work and after the first session it almost seems like a job.
Nevertheless, I am intrigued and excited to be able to have the opportunity to develop better control of my mind with the aim of delivering on my best life for my family. The rigor will add to the action and light the fires within me to drive my consistency in achieving the goals that are necessary for my family to thrive.
Since I have started reading Scroll 1 of “Mandino”, this week alone I have been able to complete two home projects that have been languishing for a while and I did feel a sense of accomplishment saying to my spouse the word “Done”. This obviously give me motivation to attack some other items on the to-do list.
In the readings this I have been most impacted by these words:
“All possession is based on consciousness. All gain is the result of an accumulative consciousness. All loss is the result of scattering consciousness. I have internalized this to mean that I have to ensure a focused consistent and persistent review of my goals is critical in achieving them.”
– Charles Haanel, The Master Key System, 1:17
The challenge this week has been the sitting still for 15 minutes. I would’ve thought that I would have breezed through it but from the occasional itch to the interruption of kids it is an area that will require practice to get to the level of control that is required.
I am someone who tends to finish what I start, so one down…I’ll see you at the finish.

I can relate to your thoughts. The Haanel Quote makes me realize how scattered I’ve been for quite some time.
Hi Matthew, The sit is a challenge…you can do it and the start is the first step. Congratulations on starting
See you at the finish Matthew!
Wonderful to set yourself up as the completer and dedicated finisher you are, Matthew. Cheering you on!!
