I had a life-threatening blood clot in my left leg earlier this year. This kind of clot killed my Stepdad Arnold. I was completely gripped by FEAR. I did not know what to do. I was working as a service technician and stayed off work 6 weeks then retired, feeling I’m not going to make it.
The blood thinners and blood pressure medicine I agreed to take did not sit well with me or my body. I stopped working on my house chores. Which is now a mess. I did different things to distract me from the Fear and that was just a time-wasting endeavor, and just plain procrastination.
I went through the MKMMA class in 2015 -2016 class. I became a guide the next year. I kept the DMP alive and worked at accomplishing my desire.
In 2017, I worked on getting my business ready and fixing my house to do just that. I Retired and got all that needed to be done. Then Covid happened and I was not able to continue with the business. I went back to the same company job.
Several weeks ago, I read an email from MKE. My thoughts were fearful to even respond. I didn’t feel I deserved to go back and ask for help. Then I remembered the words Mark J said that “this is a self-directed course.” I had to do the work. Man, that was a lot of work back then.
So, I prayed to God and signed up, and attended the first webby yesterday afternoon.
I am excited and looking forward to doing the work to get back to living. I accept at 71 I can do a lot with what I have left in life.
Woke up today at 3:30 and was so excited to start my work for today. I got up and went over the instructions for MKE, again and began. Made me feel wonderful and back on track, just feel grateful.
I’m thinking of starting a business of being a handyman contractor. I love this kind of work, and it follows my desire and skills perfectly. Need to work on the details.
I have decided that this adventure will be new and in the present moment, and I’m fully here for that. I will not struggle but embrace it.

Amy, thank you. I found my issue came from consuming Erythritol with stevia and trying to use it as a sugar substitute. Even the hematologist did not know that at first. He had to look that up, while I was in his office. I focus on life and the MKE has me back on the path to a better life. Blessings in all you do.

Thank you for being so honest. I as well had a run in with a blood clot. 2019 I had a PE which shook my life because I was only 36. Come to find out I have a blood disorder that is rare and leaves a fear in me everyday. When will the shoe drop again? We all have so much more that we want to do in this life. Welcome and its never to young to start something new if it fills your heart with joy:)
