This past week has been exciting and slow. Most of all the procrastination is losing the battles and I’m getting things done. Small things but things, that were hard are getting done.
I was looking for mastermind help by reading and watching videos from MKE and ran into one video about a friend. Dan Linkert who has passed. We became guides together and worked well as a unit. I will miss him, but happy I was able to help him with his struggles.
Getting the reading and chores done. Is a small thing but it broke the chains I felt of procrastination. I realized I was confessing within myself this failure. Good to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
I went out to work on a chore. Cutting back some vines that have overgrown my fence with a neighbor. About halfway through working a 5-foot black snake that I had disturbed with the noise decided he had had enough. He stuck out his head to bite me and scared me pretty good. He missed.
We have had that snake in our combined yards for about 18 years now. Am very grateful for him because of his obsession with eating mice in the back yard. Our cats catch and bring any stray dead mice up to the wife’s side of the bed and put them on the floor. She doesn’t find that funny yet.
So, looking forward to being able to Mastermind with the wonderful people of MKE. Much has changed since I last worked through this experience. I embrace the struggle, am grateful.

Robert, I love that you are finding ways to “embrace the struggle” and “see the light at the end of the tunnel!” We love having you back.
“it broke the chains of procrastination.” Congrats!
Chores as gifts… puts a great new viewpoint on the mundane. And tools to release procrastination… thanks for sharing how you put this all together. Thrilled to have you back in the community!
