The SIT is a vital part of the MKE experience. This week during the SIT, we were to inhibit all thought. That seemed to be a relatively simple directive.

Generally speaking, I have found that no effort is required to mentally go blank or just tune out. It is quite another to consciously be aware of a purposeful effort to have no thought, even if it is only briefly.

What I experienced during those moments was that I have a barrage of thoughts all of the time, many I was not consciously aware of. Even more interesting to me was the number of dreams I’ve had all week, sometimes two or three in one night.

The dreams have been vivid, giving me insights and directions. I’m enjoying this new discovery.

  • Thanks for sharing…I am envious that you can tune out..so easily.. I am having a hard time sitting for 15 min ( I am a yellow…lol) but last few times I am getting better…especially doing the sit with relaxing only….wow I got some great ideas while sitting and relaxing. Did a reel video (new to me) in 5 seconds…then posted with my VA…I felt so accomplished. 🙂

  • Robin – I got chills reading your post. The act of being still during the day releasing the subby at night to make connections between your world without and your world within!

  • Thank you for sharing the wonder you see in this journey, Robin. So glad you are enjoying this.
