As we are in our third week of the Master Key Experience, I find myself having a bit of a struggle to maintain each item to do. I have not missed or skipped, thankfully but it is more intentional.
The first two weeks each item was exciting and fairly easy to do. Since it is not as exciting it is more like work this week. I heard Davene say the third week is what separates out the workers from the rest. I can see that if most people felt what I am feeling!
It is like I am trying to default to old habits of procrastination or stop myself from doing this. I find myself reading the scroll with more ENTHUSIASM to convince myself I MUST DO THIS NOW! I am forcing the work to re-make me. I won’t let myself stop as I know that the team who put this together is very wise in how and why I am doing each item. I trust the process and am just doing it!
I also understand that my old habits were put in place for a reason. They protected me or served me in some fashion. Mark said in this week’s workbook,
“Whereas in the beginning of each function of life and each action is the result of conscious thought, the habitual actions become automatic and the thought that controls them passes into the realm of the subconscious; yet it is just as intelligent as before. It is necessary that it become automatic, or subconscious, in order that the self-conscious mind may attend to other things. The new actions will, however, in their turn, become habitual, then automatic, then subconscious in order that the mind again may be freed from this detail and advanced to still other activities.”
– Mark Januszewski
This is real to me this week. I am in that area where it is transitioning from conscious thought and action to become automatic. I am fighting this because my actions are removing some old bad habits.
Suddenly, the scroll is also happening, where Og Mandino said,
“My bad habits must be destroyed and new furrows prepared for good seed.”
Og Mandino, The Greatest Salesman in the World, Scroll 1
This is happening and it is not exactly pleasant, fun or exciting BUT quite rewarding. I look forward to seeing how this progresses as it is really working.

Hey, Cilla! As you mentioned, “Trust the Process.” You got this!!
Looking forward to new furrows! Congrats on your work!
