I had an echo cardiogram this week. And the instant I heard my heart beating I flashed back to the emotions the first time I heard my son’s heartbeat on an ultrasound nearly 33 years ago. I remember thinking wow, there’s a life in there. I can’t wait to see it out here. Now as I study the Solar Plexus, I’m thinking the same thing. There’s a life in there and I can’t wait to see it unfold in the world without.
Just like before we had to do certain things that we did not know or understand to have a baby arrive. Now we are asked to do things that we do not understand and sometimes feel silly doing it to have our deepest desires birthed into this world. I’m here to tell ya “ Do It Now!”
I have seen the results from a previous adventure in the Master Key System. I am drawn to a quote from the Big Book from Alcoholics Anonymous that says. “If we are painstaking about this part of our development, we will be amazed before we are halfway through” As true as it is in that program, that statement could not be more true here. Do the work. You will be amazed!
I remember lying on the procedure table and thinking that God entrusts the sub-conciseness mind to run my heart then why can’t I trust the subby to manifest my desires. I can, but then the real question is why don’t I? The truth is it’s work. It gets in the way I treat it as secondary item. These cards are dumb, why am I reading the same thing over and over? I don’t have time for this.
Well, actually you do. As Haanel says that once we realize what the subby is capable of we should devote all of our attention to understanding it. In the intro to part 3 he says
“Direct your effort to a realization of the mental recourses always at your command, from which all real and lasting power comes.”
The Master Key Experience, Charles Haanel, Chapter 3 Intro
Yep, it takes effort. I challenge you to move this up on your priority list to where it belongs. I have. It is more important than anything else I could do. Just think if you gave your occupation the time and effort that you are giving the MKE would you see results?
Now, what if you gave the MKE the time and effort that you give your occupation. What would the result be? I suggest that it would be mind blowing.
That’s what I’m doing.

You’re right Ken, do the work to be surprised by the results. All assignments sound easy, even childish, so it is easy not to do them. As we work on ourselves and commit to this exercise, the habit of DO IT NOW gives us just the right reward.
