minutes remaining

It’s 3 pm February 2nd 2026, my birthday, sitting at an outdoor table outside the 11th Street Diner in South Beach Florida. It’s 83 degrees with the sun shining brightly and a slight breeze.

I am being interviewed by Chet Whatley with KOLA Miami for an article about tips I can share with aspiring network marketers. I am dressed in white linen slacks, a salmon-colored short sleeve shirt, white leather deck shoes and white belt.

I am sipping an exotic house drink which is tall, cold, very strong and very flavorful. You can hear the low chatter and laughter of people at surrounding tables and the smell of the wonderful food they are serving.

I am relaxed, confident in my zone soaking up the sun and watching the locals in their bright Miami attire as they stroll along the sidewalks. My life couldn’t be better. I enjoy optimal health and I am grateful and blessed with time and financial abundance to do whatever I wish.

Earning $20,000 or more a month provides me with the means to travel for extended vacations. Much more than that I am totally content and enjoy peace of mind. I am focused on the here and now living in the moment, as I celebrate being alive.

I could have never imagined my current lifestyle just a few short years ago. Now my reality is simply amazing! I love life and the people who I have been blessed to have met along the way on my journey of self-discovery. I have created this success with help and guidance of my mastermind alliance comprised of several of my network marketing partners and other success driven entrepreneurs.

What tips can I offer Chet? First and foremost, treat this as a business, not a hobby, this sounds like a cliché, but it’s absolutely true. It doesn’t end there though; you need to educate your teams on the four ways to build a business.

You must focus and devote time every day to measure, monitor, adjust and control your activities that grow your organization. Your goal is to leverage time, actions and people and ultimately teach your team to build teams without you.

Keep this business simple and keep it fun! Make it relatable and familiar, not mysterious. Don’t use jargon.

Thank you Chet for the opportunity and honor of sharing the insight I have gained from countless leaders of network marketing over the years and hopefully pay it forward to those who are just beginning their journey.
