This weeks lessons have me reflecting on ego, and its associate with fear, and judgement .

The ego is a master of falsification, and stands ready to react to contrived threats. This is a learned behavior that thrives on fear and can be destructive.

Ego specializes in tricking us into believing it’s helping obtain what we THINK is needed. It’s also never satisfied.

Our soul represents our true self, is embedded in love, and is resilient. One writer refers to the soul as “our consciousness experiencing our life” as the observer.

So it seems that if soul is the observer and ego is a manipulator, there may be a one-sided power struggle with ego attempting domination.

If allowed our egos can take us where we don’t want to go. I’m a faithful GPS user and so I feel the need to follow the path focused on maintaining good discernment, this week.

Og speaks to surrendering to years of “accumulated habits.” Judgment which is defined as formulated opinions based on beliefs, values, or preferences, is one of those “accumulated habits” that is second nature to many.

It has been a constant struggle for me to deprogram and get rid of judgement. I know however that I must be diligent in replacing it with observation (noticing “what is”).

I’m sensing a theme here that the Master Key System is teaching to. I must persevere in retraining my mind so that my ego isn’t in the drivers seat.
