It’s hard to believe we’re about half way done with this course. It’s been very intense with so many parts to juggle. I like having definite tasks to complete each week and everyday, but sometimes it does get a bit overwhelming.

I appreciate that I have incorporated new habits into my life, and do enjoy the regularity and consistency they provide.

Although familiar with the notion that thoughts are things and have a role in shaping our life, this course has cemented in my mind that purposefully directing our thoughts accomplishes this by retraining our subconscious mind to make more effective choices on its own to drive us toward our chosen outcome in life.

It is very encouraging to see that this is what all great teachers have been saying since forever.

I have been reading works by Hill, Dyer, Chopra, Wattles, Abraham, Emerson; and watched videos by Lipton, Dispenza and others and really feel that Mark has done the best job of condensing everything into the best mind training system available; and has made it incredibly accessible to serious students.

I appreciate the various methods used to infiltrate the subconscious mind to instill new habits; including the note cards, the shapes highlighting aspects of my DMP, recording my own voice, the movie poster, and most recently the trick of thought substitution while practicing the mental diet- seeing the image of the bear hugging the kettle.

The very thought of that bear instantly tickles me and distracts me from my negative thought and lightens my mood.

The hardest part is getting this blog in weekly. Although I do keep a personal journal, I seem to struggle with this part of the MKE program. Done for the week. Big sigh of relief…
