The scroll marked 3 from Og Mandino “I will persist til I succeed.”

The meaning of persist which is -to hold firmly and steadfastly to a purpose, state, or undertaking despite any obstacles, warnings, or setbacks. That really resonated with me because it is something I haven’t been very good at before.

With repetition of this scroll, it will be embedded into my subconscious and I will be as a new person. This Master Key class is so phenomenal in the building blocks to train our subconscious in every way possible.

The phrase of “Do it now! ” repeated daily along with this scroll and clear focus like a magnifying glass is going to definitely have a major impact on not only my habits but also on everything I do. Especially when you add in all the other building blocks that we are being taught and doing on a daily basis.

This week in part 12 of Haanel’s teaching we learn more about the three steps that are absolutely essential to keeping from going backwards which are the knowledge of our power, the courage to dare, and the faith to do.

I believe the sit is very crucial for myself to learn and grow with the power and knowledge from within. Then the most important is to act upon it. Just like Mark J says “knowledge doesn’t apply itself.” Thought from within brings about our outer world.

Also, this week we learned another helpful metaphor of bear hugs kettle. Where the bear is hugging a very hot kettle and the more afraid he was, the tighter he held on the kettle until it finally led to the bears demise. This really resonated with me resembling the fear, negative thoughts, or resentment that I may be holding onto.

This image also keeps the subconscious on guard of any negative thought, fear, negative emotion, etc. by using a 3×5 card with bear hugs kettle on one side and having one of our definite major purposes on the other side allows me and others to choose between bear hugs kettle (negative) or your definite major purpose (positive).

Such a great metaphor and a great way to train your subconscious mind.
