Hello. My name is Teri Hartshorn. I am 56, born and raised in Ohio and still live in there. I am the middle of three kids. I have an older brother and younger sister.

I got married at 22 and divorced at 24. I’ve had long term relationships since, but have been single since 2001.

I am a retired firefighter. I injured my back on duty and was forced to take a disability pension in 2011 after 18 years on the job. My life has never been the same since. I had life changing back surgery in 2013, but still deal with chronic pain daily.

I love dogs and have two Chesapeake Bay Retrievers. Both dogs have been professionally hunt trained and I enjoy duck hunting with them. One also dock dives and even came in fourth in a National dock diving competition a few years ago. I volunteer for a Chesapeake Bay Retriever rescue and foster dogs on occasion.

I moved from the city to the country in 2020 and really enjoy the slower lifestyle and smaller community.

I’ve also got a BS in accounting and work for Intuit (TurboTax) from November through April. Next month will start my forth season with them, this time as a Seasonal Manager.
