It is a cool autumn evening in the heart of Potato country just West of Blackfoot Idaho. A lite breeze coming from the south causing the temperature to slip. Out on the horizon, is one of the most spectacular red sunsets, The sky has a red tint covering the whole western sky, even the clouds have a shade of red to them.
The smell of dirt is in the air and the faint roar of trackers to the north. As the interviewing team drives up the driveway, they see cows on both sides of the road. One of the camera men casually asks, how long is this driveway? The house did indeed sit about a half mile off the road. Hard to see it even halfway up the drive.
The driveway had trees about 30 yards all the way up the lane. Beyond the trees on both sides were cows peacefully grazing on the grass. As we turned the corner the house, which was hidden by the trees, jump out at us. Several gasps heard coming from the back of the van as we came to a stop.
The Robinsons sitting comfortably on a quant loveseat to one side of their front porch. A few extra chairs for our team to have a comfortable spot, looking out to the northwest and in full view of that magnificent sunset.
Hello, my name is Frank Zappa, I’m with the State journal. We have an appointment.
Kevin Quietly suggests we sit and motions to me to start asking questions.
First Kevin, let me say this was a very mesmerizing drive coming up your lane. I Must confess, I never knew there was so much beautify out here. Man, what a site this is.
Thanks Frank, that is part of the reason we are here.
Let me first ask about the Land. There must be a hundred acer around your home here.
Well, not actually Frank there is a little over 85 acers. There is 6 acers, 3 on each side of the lane with cows grazing, you probably noticed them as you were driving up. The field being farmed is about 80 acers. Our home sits on 2 acers.
Tell me Kevin, I understand there is a story about this land. Do you mind sharing that.
I don’t mind saying a bit Frank. This land has a great legacy before we bought it and we are giving that legacy to our kids. It is a very exhilarating feeling of achievement for me. But this is really a question for my wife. Do you mind telling them honey?
Ok, I grew up here. Our home was the last home you past before turning up the lane. My grandparents lived over there on the north end of the field. My brother built a new home several years ago and had the old farmhouse demolished.
Over to the north end of the field sat a moderate sized two-story home with a large garage/build about fifty yards away which was nearly double the size of the house.
My dad and his dad raised dairy cows on this land for years. It was sold to a cousin to pay some expensive medical bills. Getting this land back into the family has meant a lot to me and my siblings.
Kevin, tell me how you guys were able to buy this land. I understand you worked a nurse doing your working career?
Yes Frank, that’s a good story too, but let me just say, I loved being a nurse and to be able to provide that service. Mind you the last 15 years of my career was on the dark side, you know in IT.
I became an analyst and worked on teaching healthcare providers how to communicate to the computer and helped the computer talk with the Doctors. We all had a little laugh at his comment.
Seriously Frank after a successful career, I didn’t have enough money to retire. So, my wife and I decided to start a small business. We went out and signed up several affiliate companies and started marketing.
I had learning disability and fought my way through school, obtained my master’s degree. When it came to communicating with people, well, let’s just say I was still socially inapt.
We Started a personal development campaign and ran across Mark J. out in Hawaii, the first course was free, we saw some change, but not what I wanted, so we did a few more.
The Master Key System absolutely changed our life. After that, people just seamed to come out of the woodwork wanting work with us. Most of them accepted our invitation to take Mark’s class, those that did are some of our most important leaders and very close friends.
So, Kevin what was the business you were selling?
Frank we had several. Everybody had different goals and needs in Life and different levels of financial stability. We would get to know them, then suggest the one that we thought would meet their needs the best. Of course, we would aways put the choice in their hand and never pressured them.
Say, Kevin I have several more questions, but it seems we are out of time. Tell me is there a way to get back to town with out driving over all these muddy streets?
No Frank. This time of the year is always muddy. We just wait for late summer rain to come and wash them off. A little dirt never hurt anyone, and a lot of dirt causes a grown man to remember his youth and playing in the mud as a kid.
Thank you so much for coming all this way to talk with us.

Well done, Kevin! Enjoy playing in the mud:)
