I woke up to a soft loving voice. Wasn’t sure who or why. Seems I forgot my prayers. So, I asked, “Who are you?” My wife answered, “Who are you talking to?”
He said, “This is God, I want you to share with me some things I can use to show other people, who ask questions like you used to.” OK, like what exactly?
God said, “You read my words, and have so many questions. Of how to help so many people.” You have developed a pure heart and that was your prayer. So why are you seeking more?? Well, I read in Matthew 5:8 that “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God”. And you don’t give a guideline for when to stop. So, I’ve wanted enough to be able to give this blessing to all who would receive it. Seems to me the more I give to my brothers and sisters, the more you give back to me.
God said, “Glad you are putting my word in your heart and willing to share. What is your desire now? How can I help you?
Oh wow, my understanding is really basic. I am building treasures in Heaven when I share this Love, does this help other people build the same treasures? OH, I’m sorry, can I get you something to eat or drink? I feel kind of out of place even talking to you. I want to know everything there is to help people in need. I’ve screwed up in life and am Happy you forgave me. Do you really forget my past Life? You know that would be helpful.
God said, “All the answers, you want to know will come at the right time for you. I came to talk about your questions about how to help people. Many people want to know what to do. Your actions can be an example to many and be an answer to their prayers. Glad you are serving in the security of my house. I do understand the concern when it comes to my little ones. Do you like taking care of children?”
Of course, I do. Many come for more than daycare. This is a break for them from daily life that at times is difficult for them. I like to give them a reason to smile and brighten their day. With time they look forward to seeing me and my wife. Most are happier when they leave our Church than when they came. My time brings me such pleasure that I almost feel guilty for having so much fun with the little ones as well as the parents.
God asked. “What do you tell them about my son Jesus?”
Many of the little ones can barely handle one person. I’ve looked for ways to explain the 3 people in one and frankly the words elude me most of the time. I care most to show them Love because I’ve never gone wrong with that. Because you showed us this kind of Love while we were still sinners. You gave your son for our salvation and that is hard for me as a father to understand.
God said.” What’s the matter?
I’m really having a hard time understanding and dealing with the fact you are here talking to me. I have always thought you did not have that kind of time to answer our prayers, let alone come and talk with me. I don’t know whether I should cry, get up and dance, or go to my knees with you here. My emotions are blown away and it seems to be getting harder to think.
God said. “Do not Fear. You are OK and doing fine.”
I hope you know that nobody is going to believe me when I tell them. I’m exploding inside that my dreams and prayers have been answered and I want the whole world to know.
And God said. “You know and that is what you need. Tell those you meet that I Love them and show them this Love, and you will have done your best in my eyes. Now I’ll go but will be forever with you.”
Now it’s been weeks since God came to interview me, and I’m still shaking and feeling bewildered. So from God – I Love You.

That’s great Robert. I believe you!! God Bless.
This is beautiful “actions can be an example to many and be an answer to their prayers.” I’m going to dream about a conversation with God now.
A conversation with God. Who would’ve thought? 🙂
What an awesome story!
