The Middlesex Recreation Department is dedicating a sports complex funded by Will Pastore. We asked him to write something about his life for his 70th birthday June 4, 2028. This is what he submitted.
Well, here I am at a pinnacle of life that sometimes seemed like I’d never reach. Over the past months I’ve reflected upon all the different adventures and events that have taken place and it is somewhat miraculous that I made it to 70.
From my early years I have always had a thirst for thinking outside the box and not conforming to the norms of society. At times it was a curse, but I always felt it played to my advantage and made me develop the ability to not panic easily and ability to sensibly react quickly. Many mini stories that had it not been for my quick thinking a more catastrophic situation could have developed.
In my twenties I attended the First Church of Religious Studies, which really opened my eyes to the principles of manifestation and the power of the mind, when clarity and intention are formulated together almost any result could be achieved.
In 1986 it occurred when I met 2 people and we masterminded and prayed together serendipitously and started a restaurant within 5 months.
I have always wanted to be of service to people whether it be lending a shoulder, an open ear, and a closed mouth to comfort someone or hiring people that may not have had the best qualifications but showed true heart and desire to succeed. I was never let down.
At the age of 43 a car accident radically altered my life’s path. After several surgeries it was determined that I would only have about 15% use of my legs. Rather than drown myself in sorrow I made the decision to travel to warm overseas climates to seek eastern modalities for therapy, escape New England winters and live cheaply.
I was so blessed to experience a life I never could have imagined. One of exemplifying courage, perseverance, and empathy for people with life challenges while meeting hundreds of people throughout the world. I developed an international family. During this time in the summers, I was able to be with my Dad as he slowly over 8 years lost his identity to Alzheimer’s.
I felt very fortunate to have made those choices and really exploited the situation to the benefit of many. In India I was able to build a house for a family of 4 and put the youngest child through nursing school.
In Mexico I was active in the Zihuatenango, MX community helping business develop promotional campaigns to increase tourism and in Thailand I help fund a restaurant with expertise and money that is still in full operation today.
So, I’ve always been out there performing service to others but as a result of Covid and the years following my Dad’s death in 2018, I found myself in a dark hole. It was very unfamiliar. I lost everything for various reasons finances, love relationship, business venture everything including my identity as a world traveling vagabond.
In June 2022 things turned around and started my second trajectory towards greatness and service. I was introduced to an opportunity of Hope. I began to rebrand myself, build a community surrounded with like-minded people and the doors of opportunity opened quickly.
By being of service to people and helping them achieve their dreams, it sort of caught on like wildfire. I started to attract great wealth that I could have never dreamed of. I sort of felt like God was answering my prayers and rewarding myself for never giving up or quitting. Always being a good example for others to witness.
With the money flow I’ve been able to really exploit the philanthropic lifestyle I always dreamed of. The final piece appeared with the tutelage of a crazy New Englander (Mark J) and his team of Identity surgeons.
I retooled my subconscious to eliminate all the negative self-talk I learned from my parents and education system to focus on the future desires and future emotions and feeling them in the present to really trick subby to believe it’s happening in the present.
It’s been an absolute blast to travel the world spreading Love and Hope to those in need and being a Beacon of Light for anyone needing a glimmer of inspiration to be the best they can be.
I do plan on establishing several international Sport Complexes so that they all might share the international flavor of my life and engage in friendly tournaments travelling to each of the other complexes.

Hi Will,
What a wonderfully well written, and communicated life journey saga! I found myself rooting for you, especially when you explained how you felt you had lost your way. I, too, have felt like that recently and over the past few years. I found inspiration and comfort in what you wrote!👍😀
