We’re really tapping into the power of our thoughts on a deeper level. Haanel discusses this in detail in Part 22:

When we realize that our present character, our present environment, our present ability, our present physical condition are all the result of past methods of THINKING, we shall begin to have some conception of the value of knowledge.

That can be scary and empowering at the same time. We therefore must take full responsibility for every aspect of our life, because on some level we created it all.

The most essential way of affecting change and creating the life we wish, is by our thoughts and adjusting them accordingly. We’ve learned many tools, such as applying The 7 Laws of The Mind, and the law governing Visualization.

If our thoughts are a vibration and

Everything in the Universe is what it is by virtue of its rate of vibration. Change the rate of vibration and you change the nature, quality and form.

We must therefore use this amazing God-given power, consciously and intelligently, in order to produce desirable results, and we can!

We want to be aware that our thoughts can be paralyzed by fear, doubt, anxiety, and other negative emotions, but we can immediately track these feelings, tune in and turn them around into positive emotions, and by doing so raise the vibration of our thoughts, which will in turn be reflected in every category of our life.

Haanel states, “We shall always find the cause in the ‘world within’ by changing the cause, we change the effect.” (22:14) Voila! And that “a higher rate of vibration governs, modifies, controls, changes, or destroys a lower rate of vibration.” (22:20).

The 1st of the Seven Laws of the Mind, is a very powerful tool here and that is the Law of Substitution. We can think about and connect with God, in order to raise the rate of vibration of our thoughts.

We are spiritual beings, and spirit is perfect. Thought is spiritual and creative. We are therefore the creators of our life through our thoughts, and now we have the tools to create those thoughts of a high, positive vibration, which in turn creates the lives we wish to create on every level, how exciting!
