Yes indeed, what a powerful tool for us to learn how to Master Our Emotions. Unfortunately the important things as such, in life, are not taught in school…I’m certain, that is by design.
I’ve been a teacher and in retrospect I believe our education system was designed to make robots who would serve the few at the top of the global “society”, who’ve keenly and somewhat stealthly designed all systems and institutions for their advantage, and the demise of We The People.
Today I will be the master of my emotions, Mandino states:
If I feel depressed I will sing.
If I feel sad I will laugh.
If I feel ill I will double my labor.
If I feel fear I will plunge ahead.
If I feel inferior I will wear new garments.
If I feel uncertain I will raise my voice.
If I feel poverty I will think of wealth to come.
If I feel incompetent I will remember past success.
If I feel insignificant I will remember my goals.
Today I will be master of my emotions.
Pure wisdom right there! We can mire and stew in our moods and emotions and drag that negativity out and let it “snowball” or we can be aware and tap into what’s occurring with our emotions, and make the effort, the cause to turn it around to a positive, to an emotion that will not only benefit us, but move us in the express lane towards our dreams and goals.
Practice Makes Perfect, this is a very important work-of-art that I believe will benefit us greatly if we make the effort to master this! I give my word, from this moment forward, that I will do my best to master my emotions and hope you’ll join me in doing the same in your life!
I always keep my promises,
Sherry
