Wow this has been a real eye opener! I knew going in I was cynical by nature but wasn’t aware that I was so reactive and negative. I thought I’m pretty much in control of my thoughts and attitude and didn’t see this as a real challenge but I was wrong.
The first 2 days I had to admit defeat and start over. The first day early in the morning I had to accept defeat. Day 2 now day 1 of the do over, I made it to mid-afternoon before I lost it on the highway. I took it in stride though I was disappointed in myself.
I am happy to say that today is day 3 and so far so good. Taking it one day at a time!
Robert,
Your honesty about the mental diet journey is refreshing. It takes a thoughtful and deliberate person to recognize and overcome such challenges. Celebrating each day, one at a time showcases your resilience and quality-oriented mindset. Keep going strong!
Michael
This is a tough realization. Only when we are aware of our mental habits can we be better. So proud of you.
Cheering you on!
I am taking it one day at a time too, Robert!
Your doing great Robert.
