Week 8- Wow!! I am excited to be here and can’t believe how fast time is flying by. I am already seeing results in myself personally in the form of having more confidence and in the way I react to other people. I can stay calm and chill a lot more than I used to. I have more patience and control.
I walked into this week feeling like I was getting a handle on the sits and really enjoying the 15/20 minutes that I would put into them. I also thought that I had a good perspective on things and thought about my actions and such before I did them or said something.
This week’s sit was difficult for me. To take a battleship, see it, examine it, that I could do. But when I was asked to go back and focus on the steps and process it took to create the battleship, I would get stuck.
I would either get stuck in one spot or another, find myself steering off in a direction or finding other thoughts seeping in. Today is midweek 8 and I have to say this time today was much better than the rest so far. I was able to take the battleship, break it down, bring it into the shipyard, watch the workers take it apart, and get to the engineers that followed the plans.
I can say there is one thing that helped me with this. MY TRIBE!! I am a member of the Key Masters and by listening to others in my tribe describe how they sit and the lanes they take made it easy for me to stay focused on what the task was.
So, THANK YOU my fellow Key Masters for always being awesome and present in our conversations. I have taken this week little tips and tricks that my tribe has been doing and sharing and incorporating them into my daily services and I don’t 100% know how we were all chosen to be a part of the tribes we were but whoever added me in to mine, made a perfect decision. Here’s to creating amazing friendships and alliances and experiencing each other become the Golden Buddhas that we are.
I so agree, Amy! Those of us who’ve been around MKE for awhile often reflect on how things seem divinely arranged to help us grow in the ways we most want/need! And you can know deeply that KEY MASTERS’ lives have been enormously blessed by you as well. 🙂 Yay us!!!
Amy, another great job with your post. I must say the battleship was a good test for all to complete even the reading of the instructions. You did it and it’s done. Congratulations, Happy you are on our Key Masters tribe.
