MKE Week 11. A few thoughts on the week, I just talked about this web that Mark J and team had been spinning for us these many weeks and in these many ways and here it is proof.
Proof not only were they doing this but that if you paid attention to your intention to do this work to master the thing called you, you were in fact doing it. It was truly cool to see that even in areas where you questioned your fidelity, come to find out you were actually doing it, because of all the ways that the web has been woven.
It’s great to have this validation now. Scroll 3 has a several passages that stood out. I carry a Lion on my keychain and wear a Bear claw pendant that has an Eagle and a cross on the silver work, all symbols of power and courage.
When OG talks about the sheep and slaughterhouse of failure, I relate to the Lion and standing up and apart not falling for whatever following blindly allowing others to think for me or influence my thoughts because the watchman at the gate is asleep.
It also takes me back to the bedtime story I read to my girls about chickens and the Eagle. Chickens flock, gossip and peck their way through life while the Eagles don’t flock, they soar and lead.
It is so interesting how stories and myths are told in different ways by different tribes. When he talks about the prize not necessarily being at the beginning of the journey, that it could be down the road, and you don’t how close you are unless you turn the corner.
Makes me think of a couple of my favorite sayings; ‘If you don’t go, you’ll never know,’ and ‘you can’t come back from where you’ve never been.’ So, one must know when you start the journey it’s not a race, it’s more about grace as you continue to put one foot in front of the other.
So just keep on steppin and continue to persist until you succeed. Interestingly enough another animal for me is the Beaver, known for the power of adaptability and persistence. So, I persist, and I succeed.
Love, Joy and Peace

Thanks Marie, yes I love that one. This material has me thinking about it. .
Thanks Joan, Yes those qualities help shape character.
Indeed we can! Thanks Cheryl
I also love the part about the sheep. I am not a sheep, I refuse to talk, to walk, to sleep with the sheep…we can think on our own, thank you 🙂
Hi Michael, Good to observe the qualities found in different animals. We are all connected. Enjoyed your blog.
“You can’t come back from where you’ve never been.” Wow…that’s a good one.
Appreciate you weaving animal stories in…
