I really love when I make a connection and see two or more people explaining same principle in different ways. The truth is that there are only a certain number of principles and “principles always endure” -Og
So, this week both Mandino and Haanel make the same statement in different ways.
Basically, that knowledge does not apply its self and knowledge not applied atrophies.
In Chapter 11 Og writes
“My skills, my mind, my heart, and my body will stagnate, rot, and die lest I put them to good use. “
The Greatest Salesman in the World, Og Mandino, Chapter 11
And in Part 15 paragraph 36 Charles writes,
“Call to mind that knowledge unused passes from the mind.”
The Master Key System, Charles Haanel, Part 15, Paragraph 36
I have heard it one other way.
“To know and not to do is not to know.” G.I.N
All of this sums up that we must do the work.
Do it now!
Thank you for showing this connection between the two bodies of work.
How true is this Ken, We must apply the knowledge.
Yes Ken sees it – I believe he may have the gift of discernment ❤️🔥
Ken…I am inspired by your connecting the golden thread of Og and Haanel’s work. Beautifully thought out.
Ken, I really like what you added on here the unapplied knowledge atrophies and then dies 😵 Wow great point that I never add on and now I’m going to – mahalo for a great share.
