This week was super hard for me. Starting my new hours for work and trying to maintain normalcy was very difficult. Trying to figure out when would be a good time to do my Master Key Experience homework and sit and try to make sure that I get all my assignments done.

I did it though!! I am pretty proud of the fact that I didn’t fall behind and I kept with my habits. I changed up the hours of when I got things done, but was able to keep it up which was a concern for me when I started the week.

This week found things very difficult too personally. It was like the universe was testing me. It put people in front of me that really got under my skin. With my 10-year-old, it was a battle to have her clean her room.

She’s 10, but at times is going on 15, and normally I find myself able to keep my cool and control my mind and thoughts, but this week was a challenge for sure. I didn’t always win.

I know it had to do with the fact that things were set off motion with the new job and trying to navigate that as well as some tension with my husband, as he was feeling overwhelmed with having to pick up some of the family slack due to working until after 7 each day.

Oh, and not expressing opinions!! Let’s add that to the mix lol. That was also pretty hard for me. I started off well in the beginning of the week but seemed to revert to the old ways towards the end of the week.

Even my sit was difficult this week. I found it very hard to really focus for 15 minutes on a happy place for myself. I was able to do it twice that week but that was a challenging one for sure.

I did have some successes this week. I was able to really focus and get signed off on my DMP (definite major purpose), which is AWESOME!! I also dug deep into my DMP and got some ideas on specifics of what I want to do and how. I also knew 2 other people that were looking for jobs and sent their resumes to my boss and both will be starting up soon.

But I can say that I am happy that I had a week like this because I now know how to handle things better come this week and moving forward. I can already see myself change but look forward to really seeing things change moving on to next week.
