One of the things that is important to my need for true health is emotional health. One aspect of that is family relationships and connections. Most of my family live out of state which makes visits few and far between.
I make the most of that with phone visits, which help greatly. I had written family visits on the list of things I want and thought about. I was thinking I had to find a way to get to them. Driving long distances is a challenge I haven’t undertaken in some time.
To my surprise, one of my brothers called and told me that he was traveling with his wife and would like to stop to visit us for a few nights. Of course, I said yes. We spent treasured time-sharing memories, visited an Apple Orchard where we picked fresh apples, enjoyed dinner at a local restaurant and played Yahtzee. It was delightful and an unexpected treat!
You may wonder what this has to do with the Master Key Experience, so I’ll share a few of my thoughts in that regard.
o I feel that the thoughts I am reinforcing in my exercises and times of stillness are showing up with even the barrier removed (they came to me versus me going to them).
o It was an opportunity to show love, kindness, and hospitality.
o I made it a point to get up early and look for the windows of time to do the midday and evening routines. (The evening routine was the biggest challenge one night as we were having special conversations.)
o I’m also realizing that I want to spend more time in silence to deepen awareness of possibilities.
It brought to my mind the Scripture from Ephesians 3:20
“Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.”
The question becomes: Why have I limited God within me so much? One of my answers is to keep moving forward with gratitude for growing awareness.
See you next week!

Thank you for sharing the Scripture that illustrates your experience so well. It ends “according to the power that works in us.” Profound. I am so delighted you are seeing more and more of that working in and around you, Pat. How great that your family came to YOU!
Hi Patricia, Thank you for sharing your unexpected treat with us. From your post, it sounds like you brought them to you with your thoughts about them. Always a pleasure to remember those we love and have common experiences with.
It sounds like you’re really learning to be the observer, Patricia! Good for you! 🙂
