I had some very challenging times at work this week.
I needed to take quick action and demand an immediate turnaround in behavior. I was aware of my defensiveness as I felt triggered by the aggressive male that was having an outburst. I took action and called them out on their behavior before it could escalate into anything worse as it was in a very public forum.
In the past I may not have been able to do this in a constructive way and save the relationship without giving up my power. Yet I was able to and was able to use clear boundaries to attain the desired outcome I needed in the situation.
It is amazing to step back and see how powerful this is. I was out of my comfort zone in dealing with this situation but I did it and that makes me feel a new found confidence in my ability to lead.

Great share. Way to go being the observer.
Wow, what a powerful blog Cheri and so great that you could take control of the situation. Bravo to you!! Thank you for sharing.
That is outstanding Cheri! Great bringing out and manifesting what is already within you; you are strong and self confident! Thank you for sharing!
It sounds like you’re becoming a self-directed thinker, Cheri! Bravo! 🙂
Wow amazing courage. It is not easy to be able to turn something like that around. Most people are ruled by their emotions. Instead of letting your emotions react, you were able to keep the whole situation from getting out of hand by serving those around you. Instead of feeding your ego. Wow, well done, I seldom see such selfless service to others.
Great share Cheri! You were the objective observer of a situation and set clear boundaries. Way to go!!!
