This Movie starts with a young man’s dream of winning the Gold Medal at the Olympics in 1988. He was a sprinter and lost his place on the team during the competition. His definite major purpose did change. He decided to join a bobsled team and had never seen a bobsled or a race.
When the young man went to talk to who he wanted to coach this team. He was told to go away and will not be a coach. His answer was “I’ll be back tomorrow”. Showing his Positive Mental attitude despite being told no.
This young man got a team together and trained without having a bobsled until they got to Calgary, Canada. They all kept training despite the obstacles they faced. The mastermind was forming every day and got stronger every day.
The medal run was being made and the team crashed. They got up, picked up the bobsled, and walked to the finish line. A tear fell down my cheek, as I saw the crowd applaud this group of young men who finished the race despite all the setbacks they had.
The movie showed the full hero’s journey and was nice to watch it and get inspired all over again.
I always keep my promises.

I have yet to watch this movie. It shall be watched posthaste. I am comforted, yet again, to hear of people succeeding by changing or adapting their actions to attain their goals. Look forward to watching it. Thank you, Robert!
Love it! You talk about the value of persistence!
Great blog Robert, linking the MKE principles. Well done.
