Week 14, and I am experiencing Life’s curve balls. I have a choice regarding how I want to think, feel, believe, and act.
When I left my mother’s Independent living apartment on Wednesday, December 19th, I thought I was returning home to be with my sweetheart husband, Dave.
After five weeks of staying with my 97-year-old Mother, my sisters and I agreed we knew what Mom needed when it came to her new short-term memory.
We were wrong. I am back staying with my Mother, whom I love dearly, temporarily while we get some daily support in place for her.
By embodying and embracing the MKE weekly exercises and doing my best, this new journey with my Mother has been personally transformative.
I have been more centered and self-directive than before taking MKE. Thank you, MKE, for being here for me at the perfect time!
Your mom is fortunate to have you with her. When we realize that time is limited for her on earth, you’ll feel her presence the rest of your life as you yourself sorjourns.
Awesome! We are learning some amazing things. Being able to self-direct is amazing. (and your mother is lucky for your abilities!)
Celebrating you in this extraordinary win in your amazing life.
