Week nine, and as we prepare for the Thanksgiving holiday, we are reminded from one of our index cards that we are to be both a constant giver and a grateful receiver, and that in order to receive we must first give of ourselves, our gifts, to the people we encounter. “ I am a grateful giver, and a humble receiver.”
We replaced our smart goal shape sheets with ones that are each missing one of our smart goals. But, because we have been training our minds to wire and fire together, and being observant, we notice the omissions, and our habit from the last weeks pushes “subby” to fill in the missing information. We just look at that shape and bam, we know it’s there, even though the words and numbers aren’t. How cool is that?
Speaking of habit, even though we are completing our first trimester, and no class is scheduled for the next week, our daily habits will push us to continue the exercises and readings during the holiday time off, if we manage ourselves properly.
Our Master Key lesson this week reminds us of the power within that is in our control. That is why we repeat with feeling, “I can be what I will to be” 20 times each day. We are affirming to our subconscious mind of this immense power that everyone has been given, if we only use and direct it correctly.
In this lesson, we also learn from the remarkable experience of Frederick Andrews, who transformed and healed himself from a crippled 13 year old boy with no medical hope offered, into a “strong, straight, well formed man”.
His affirmation – “I am whole, perfect, strong, powerful, loving, harmonious and happy!”. To that this week, we Americans can only add, “I am thankful”.
Great blog, Jack! Happy holidays are upon us. And thankful, yes indeed!
and we’re Thankful for you!
I agree with the others. What a wonderful blog and the interweaving of the work!
What a wonderful blog, Jack! I appreciate your perspective, and I greatly enjoyed reading it. I love saying and feeling the affirmation! Thank you for the very nice blog!
Thank you for sharing this inspirational blog Jack. I liked how you wove this weeks lesson and activities into your blog, added aspects of the Law of Giving, and focused on Frederick Andrews’ positive affirmation. Just reading your blog made me grateful for what I have.
Happy Thanksgiving!
What an excellent blog! You are definitely on it. Congratulations! Happy Thanksgiving!
