For as long as I can remember, my words have flowed effortlessly, streaming out in a constant stream of consciousness. Impulsivity has been my companion, and my words, unfiltered by forethought, have often led me into both joyous moments and regrettable situations.
It’s a way of life I’ve embraced, until I stumbled upon a profound piece of advice from Charles Haanel:
“Analyze every thought before speaking, and decide whether it is worthy to be spoken.”
Master Key System, Charles Haanel, Part Eight
This simple yet powerful mantra has become a cornerstone in my journey of self-discovery.
Embracing Haanel’s wisdom isn’t just about tempering impulsivity; it’s about engaging with the law of attraction. By carefully analyzing my thoughts before they escape my lips, I’ve found a new level of intentionality.
Speaking only what is truly worthy aligns my words with my desires, making the law of attraction a force that works in harmony with my aspirations. It’s a conscious effort to create a positive, purposeful dialogue with the universe.
As I embark on this transformative journey, I’ve integrated the practice of working from the end to the beginning. Envisioning my goals as already achieved and then reverse engineering the steps needed to reach them has become a daily ritual.
Visualization, combined with the deliberate choice of spoken words, amplifies the manifestation process. Each thought becomes a building block in the construction of the reality I seek to create.
Meditation has become my anchor in this endeavor. Regular moments of quiet reflection serve as a reminder to analyze my thoughts before they manifest into speech. It’s a practice that reinforces my commitment to intentional living and aligning my words with my deepest desires.
Charles Haanel’s timeless advice has not only transformed my communication style but has become a catalyst for achieving the life I envision—one thoughtfully chosen word at a time.
Stephanie, thanks for staying true to your blogging! 🙂
Enjoyed your blog and your word choice journey. One of my favorite quotes from the MKE is the same: “Analyze every thought before speaking, and decide whether it is worthy to be spoken.”
Master Key System, Charles Haanel, Part Eight
This is great, Stephanie. I also tend to be unfiltered with my thoughts and opinions. I did not do well with the keeping my opinion to myself assignment. But, I have to say, how you have explained this using Haanel has put this into better perspective for me. My words and opinions aren’t always aligning with what I want, and I also need to think about whether my words are worthy of being spoken. I think this will help me be more deliberate. Thank you for that!
