Changing conditions with old technology to newer techniques and methods and tutoring is bringing on changes in my character as I give up my pride of not wanting to ask for help. My prideful self has changed!

Meeting many technicians at 3 places over the last few weeks has finally changed my anxious feelings of dreading working on a computer. You can teach an old dog new tricks.

“Hold in mind the condition desired, affirm it as an already existing fact. By constant repetition it becomes a part of ourselves.”

The Master Key System, Charles Haanel

Meeting an American Chinese gentleman who spent his childhood in Communist China and college educated in California has brought a friendship that is beyond belief! My husband and I spent 3 hours trying to get an old email address working that was attached as primary to my email.

He called Corporate rather than let us go home and try to sort it our on the phone for 2 hours. Then he came to our home 3 times to install everything correctly, answered the phone 6 times when we called and we were in the store 3 times.

I was so grateful the first time that I gave him a small basket of my green and ripe homegrown cherry tomatoes from my Tower Garden that I picked before the frost. Then the next evening problems again so I cooked Chocolate brownies for Thanksgiving and gave him a hot one as he left the second time.

The third time we tried to give him money and he would not take it. He came to our home after long days at work selling phones during the holiday season. He realized we were paying too much for our old services and changed us after finding discounts for Seniors. He did not want reciprocation but just did his job.

Character is a result of continued effort. Kind words, smiles, and asking about his family showed him we cared about him. He wants us to be his Grandmother and Grandfather! We said we would love that!

“We reap what we sow.” Our hearts have been touched with love!
