My focus has been so scattered for so long. Now I am focusing on what I know in my heart at this season of life is important.
I am thankful for the lessons I am learning from Mark J, the Fabulous Davene and team of many guides they have put in place to help the rest of the world find their focus.
If you are at all like me and struggle when it comes to helping yourself, I am praying for you. I will never forget the time a trusted friend said to me in a phone conversation “Look at yourself in the mirror and tell that person you love her”.
I could not believe my response!! I struggled to choke out the words!! And even more interesting were the tears that came. That was one of the most personal and powerful events in my life. That occurred just before I started with this fabulous team of people who will forever be ingrained in my heart.
You know guys, even as I wrote those words to you, I had tears in my eyes. I always knew in my mind I loved me, why wouldn’t I, right? This is from the heart though and I am eternally grateful.
As the “Gal in the Glass” poem says “go to the mirror and look at yourself and see what that gal has to say”. So, tell her you love her, you will be glad you did.
At my wonderful church I just left in Florida when people prayed for me exclusively, I had tears. Now I am at my new home, living at my new church, volunteering for the Kingdom as we spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ around the world and I still get teary when it comes to this.
So, for those of you who may be like me, I will say to you what a beautiful soul told me before I left my wonderful home in Florida “that’s the Holy Spirit doing a wonderful thing in you”!
I recommend you trust in the Lord. He always has your best interest in mind. Praise God for all He does.
Peace, love and joy be your journey now and forever. Happy Holidays my friends.
I am Patti Kay and I ALWAYS keep my promises. CIAO for now!
Wow Patti, your suggestion on Trust is simply wonderful. How about this… “Thought is a spiritual activity and spirit is creative, therefore the result of holding this thought in mind, must necessarily bring about conditions in harmony with the thought”. Your wisdom and leadership are much appreciated.
Hi Patti – thanks for sharing. One day at a time. You’re doing great.
How about…Here’s to you! (The sisters from school are aghast!)
Patti,
What a great share! I am grateful to have met you in person and that we are walking this growth journey together. Here to you, my friend!!
Thanx Sandra. Hearing your voice daily is a blessing. So glad we are in this together.
Thanx Deanna. I am so grateful for all the new communities of people groups in my life. Be safe.
Thanx Day. I appreciate you.
Thanks for sharing how you are feeling during this season in your life and how you are shedding tears of joy as you tell yourself ‘I love you’ and embrace your new life with your church family.
Thank you so much for sharing your heartfelt story. It warmed my heart reading about what you’ve been going through the past few weeks. I’m so glad your dear friend blessed you by telling you, “that’s the Holy Spirit doing a wonderful thing in you!” Amen!
Wishing you a grateful Thanksgiving.
Congratulations on seeing that beautiful YOU within. Keep growing, my friend!
