Living this day as if it was my last. This has been something that I have known about. People talk about it all the time. I often think about this because I have had an experience that could have taken my life.

I know many people who died way too soon. Yet I have struggled with this. I often found myself falling back into the comfortable routine of daily life. I have forgotten to be grateful, thankful and letting the people I love and care about know that I love and care about them.

Since starting this scroll, I have found myself giving more hugs, telling my husband and kids that I love them as much as I can and really feeling grateful for the life I have and the fact that I am here on this earth.

I am a work in progress. I am inspired by my fellow members of MKE and the amazing shares they have of different things they have done to tell those who mean a lot to them just how much they truly do.

It has inspired me to reach out to someone I care about that I don’t talk to anymore and hopefully spark a new friendship.

Meet Amy Shirtcliff

I'm Amy Shirtcliff. I am married to my best friend, a mom of 3 girls, 1 boy, 1 dog and 2 cats. I am from CT, born and raised. I love all things creative (crochet, sewing, baking, gardening to name a few, and I am a pretty big nerd (love Comic Cons, LOTR, Marvel, Star Wars). Would love to connect about similarities and interests.
