I welcome challenge
Week 1 blog
This is my very first blog ever! Let me start off by saying that initially the work involved with the MKE curriculum seemed a daunting task as I am also participating in the Standing Tall/Color Codes program.
Let me start off by telling you a little bit about me. I had considered getting my Master’s Degree in Holistic Nursing a few years back and chose to attend Interfaith Interspiritual Seminary instead for my “higher” education.
The main reason I made that choice was because I had had my fill of nursing research and of writing papers. Seminary did involve research and writing papers on a monthly basis and somehow I found the time and energy to complete my assignments on time in spite of the fact that I was working fulltime as a nurse.
I believe this was because through learning about various spiritual practices, traditions, and rituals I was expanding my consciousness. I really believe that putting my spiritual practices first is essential to living a full productive life. Seminary gave me some precious tools to help myself and others grow on this journey called life.
I can see why MKE is considered to be on a Post Graduate level and so far I find it to be very challenging, interesting, and enlightening. It is intense, unlike any other course of study that I have embarked on. I say that because of the myriad of tasks needed to do each and every day, multiple times a day.
I am a white in color codes and so like to do things as thoroughly as I can. And I understand the value of the various practice implemented by MKE because I know the power of the subconscious mind has in bringing about real significant change in life.
So, yes, the MKE course is intense, takes lots of discipline, and I am so happy for the tools I am learning to utilize in order to bring about higher consciousness, real change and personal growth. I have decided to keep an open mind and open heart so that I can make the space for MKE to fit into my life.
I am ready to overcome my previous programing and bad habits that have delayed or even halted my personal growth. To quote part of our studies,
“…Only a habit can subdue another habit.”
Og Mandino, The Greatest Salesman in the World, p. 55
Week 1 has been a challenge and I am abundantly grateful for this MKE experience.

Hi there Carmen!
It was nice to meet you at Michael’s zoom tribe meeting today!
Your training is a holistic nurse, and your interfaith and interspiritual Seminary training sound like categories that would sync well with The Master Key Experience. We are all here to further our vision of service, I believe!🛐🙏🏼
Enlightening as always. I love listening to your words. Thank you.
Carmen, Congratulations on continuing your journey! When the student is ready, the teacher will call. You answered the call, and stepped up. I will encourage your growth and progress! See you on Coffee w/ Curtis!!
