Blaahg? Not!

A long time ago, in conversation with a friend, was the first time I heard about Blogs. I remember not quite getting it while following her thought. As time went on, I kept hearing more and more and from other friends, expressing interest in starting their own. Some did but I never read them. Then, YES! they exploded on the internet.

I avoided digging deeper even though I saw value in it. To me, it would take up a lot of time and also, something that would become more of a specialty, hence, something to master.

As years rolled on, they came across my desk. I still wasn’t drawn to it.
NOW, it is falling into my lap and a requirement! Are you kidding me? Really? LOL!

Ironically, the beauty of it is, it is being described as journaling. I have journaled over the years sporadically and have been frustrated with myself with that inconsistency. I have experienced and learned what a great value it is for all of your interests.

It generally contains life stories, reference points of time, people you have met, quotes that resonated, memories of events. I have found myself looking back on some and seeing how much I have grown.

Now it’s no surprise that such an exercise would be inserted into the MKE.

A question comes up. Did Haanel journal? Og? Perhaps then, it was called dictation?
Aah, another subject of interest to study, the history of Journaling, Dictation and Blogging.

When given our assignment to write a blog, someone asked: What are we suppose to write about?

Answer: Our experience through the course weekly. Any aspect of it that stands out for us, any challenges in it, aspects that help us discover things and about ourselves, and so on.

Funny, after I answered the survey today, I found myself in Mark’s website and noticed a bunch of blogs. I quickly learned what a blog should read like, feel like.

Mark wrote exactly how he talks. That was refreshing to me. Took off pressure to writing a blog. It spoke loudly to me in a few ways.

Most importantly, it’s the concept of expressing yourself. Writing exactly what you feel and experience from the heart.

I immediately recognized how this exercise is going to help me unleash my voice. One of my greatest desires. I have held back throughout my life often.

What good fortune to have been guided here. Taking this course has come at the right time. I have been preparing for it at least 13 years with intent.

And the Blog writing is only a fraction of it. WOW!
