minutes remaining

If only I had a dollar for every time I followed that notion I would be a very rich girl… it’s actually a statement that has cost me so much peace.

September has been so busy… or is it just busy in my head? Perhaps it’s the combination of both. I’ve been more dedicated at work, actually doing IPA’s and following up with those I had conversations with. It looks like “they” were right; the fortune IS in the follow-up. I’m happy to have discovered that.

Still, I’m far from having a handle on it. Some things still get put off until later and bear the risk of being totally forgotten about until MUCH later. Maybe even until it’s too late?

They say that tomorrow is a mystical land where 99% of all human productivity, motivation and achievement is stored. Why not today? My mom always says “If I can do it today, why put it off till tomorrow?” At least I have inspiration right beside me, guidance and gratitude.

I used to be someone who left things waiting until the 11th hour. I don’t resonate with that anymore. I’m different now. Most of the things that surround me these days belong to the past me. The future me is emerging and taking over. I can feel her, I can hear her and see her, she’s right here beside me, pushing the past me out of the way saying “Let’s go girl, this is the way”.

So lately I’ve been purging out the old, making space for the new and it feels like I’m slowly shifting into the me I’m meant to be, and I love that so much for me.

Every time I fill up a bag with things that belong to the past me and drop it at the donation center or the garbage, new blessings arrive. How can it get any better than that?

So let’s go, girl. The future belongs to those who do it now!
I love you.
