I had a professor describe learning as a spiral, as you move up there is a small section where it feels like you are going down. The information in the MKE aligns with other studies that I have experienced in the past, so it feels exciting and familiar, like riding a roller coaster.

As certified coach and self learner, I have read and listened to many books on the subject of meditation, controlling your thoughts, and putting myself in a positive state of mind while discovering myself. All that is great until life happens.

This week I feel rather confident about my time management, I am feeling excited over the learning, the concepts are coming together in a deeper manner, and I am thrilled to have the Polos for group discussion, and I am also blessed to have friends who are part of the program who we can share our progress in a mastermind.

All this is great, until the car broke down, there was an argument with the boyfriend, work got chaotic, and I felt that familiar pressure of bills, the economy, and other emotions I want to classify as “negative”. In reaching out to Scott to understand why we attract things like this in when we are improving our world, and he reminded me of the words “our outer world is a reflection of our inner world.”

This at first made me a bit upset, however I realized that there are always things that happen in the outer world, my reaction is based on my inner world, and how I connect to God is all up to me. And, within the problem is the solution. As I read through the Master Keys, I was able to grasp the material in a deeper way, and am now more excited than before for the learning.

  • Life will always happen it’s what we choose to make of it that counts. Using the law of dual thought we can make any negative thought positive by replacing it with the feeling of a wonderful experience!

  • Thanks Ramona for the reminder that by controlling our thoughts we have control over our reactions.

  • So thrilled you’re here, Ramona! Years ago, during my 1st year with the MKE, I didn’t want to admit my outer world was dictated by my thoughts. Kudos to you for feeling the resistance and moving past it. I’m excited for you!!

  • Bravo Ramona! Great start to your MKE journey- already becoming aware of your own thoughts (world within) and being the objective observer of your outer world to see where you would like to make adjustments. It’s clear you are ready to go deeper and the framework of the MKE course is set up for you to do just that and rediscover what you truly want for your life. Cheering you on!
