This is my first ever blog, and I am sure that I am not in this boat alone. Mark J mentioned that this MKE is like going back to school, and it has been many, many years since I was in a school environment.

I do remember back when I started college, the jitters that I had, not knowing my way around campus, almost everyone a stranger, getting used to new time schedules, and every course a new experience.

Now the feelings of starting the MKE are the same. Having the jitters, but also excited for what lies ahead if I just go full in, trusting the system that has already been tested, and having confidence that I can do this.

My heart is pounding as I write this. Like many things in life, taking action to get started is the hardest part.

And so, the journey begins…

Meet Michael Bordyn

I’ve always loved the outdoors and exploring. Growing up in Florida, I earned a degree in forestry from the University of Florida, and worked in that profession for 15 years. Subsequent forays in sales and customer service drew me into a desire to help others. My wife, Millie and I have been married for 21 years, and spent several years living in western North Carolina, and upstate New York. A brief visit to South America inspired us to move to Ecuador, where we have been living in a completely different environment for the last year and a half.
Still exploring…….
