MKE Week 1 – My First Steps to a New Life
Monday morning after our first Master Key session my first steps on this new journey are significant, of course. But in six months when I look back on Day #1 I will laugh just as loud as I did today.
Right after Sunday’s webinar I eagerly reviewed all the requirements, laid out everything I would need in the morning, set my alarm for 5:45am, did my reading, and despite having a million thoughts bouncing around in my head, fell asleep quickly.
Well, 5:45 came and my feet hit the floor running. Today I begin a new life! But I wasn’t alone…both dogs, Mickey and Holly, wanted to know why I was up so early. I opened the back door so they could come and go, and I closed the door to my office so I could do my thing without four eyes staring at me looking for breakfast.
With everything in place, I jumped into this new adventure with both feet! I read the blueprint builder; I read the scroll Marked 1; I read Part 1 in the Master Key.
Ready for my first SIT! I grabbed my phone to set the alarm for 15 minutes, got comfortable, closed my eyes, and had a marvelous experience.
I had zero problems; no itch on my nose; no restless leg; no discomfort of any kind. My mind was jumping all over the place, and soon I started to wonder how much time had elapsed. And, I wondered again, and again. Still no alarm. I finally opened my eyes to find that 40 minutes had gone by, and I realized my alarm would ring Tuesday morning! Obviously, a geek I am not! So, Tuesday morning I’ll be a little more careful in setting my alarm.
“I will walk tall among men, and they will know me not, for today I am a new man, with a new life.”

Love your enthusiasm, Hal! You are off to an excellent start.
Congrats on the sit! A veritable accomplishment. Have fun!
oh Hal, you aimed for the minimum and exceeded the maximum required sit time. i think that’s beautiful and in it is hidden a beautiful reminder that you are capable of much more than you think you are.
