I’ve learned that I have a lot more to learn about my own childhood programming. There is a definite struggle to let go of old habits, feeling uncertain and some lack of trust that it can be done. Reading the Og Mandino Scroll #1 is a favorite exercise.
It moved me back many years to my memory of being privileged to see him in person and was able to get his autograph and a photo of us at this signing desk.
It was just, unfortunately, only a month or two before his death. I remember how in awe I was, of him listening to him speak and seeing in my mind, him standing on stage. I began reading some of his books.
“Today I begin a new life.”
Og Mandino, The Greatest Salesman in the World, p. 51.
However, like many things in life, I took for granted his wisdom and did not apply his words as I wish I could have – right away and throughout life.
Pat, it is fantastic that you got to meet OG. The things we take for granted are incredible, and we only realize their significance later. Now you have the knowledge and the ability to use and apply many of his teachings. Thanks for sharing!
It is a new day. To begin a new life.
Incredible you were able to meet Og Mandino!! Don’t fret of what’s past, as they say it’s either today or some day. I believe you found your today.
Peace 🕊️
Pat – great Week 1 blog. What a blessing to have the opportunity to met Og Mandino in person!
Good news – the MKE course is the perfect place & time to apply what you read to your life. A wonderful way to honor Og’s memory.
