So it begins….
King Théoden speaks these three words in the movie Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers. I have so many analogies between King Théoden and myself but the two I am referring to right now are:
I am staring down at an upcoming life-changing and world-changing battle.
I have magnificent allies.
And I’ve written, re-written, edited, re-written, edited, rinsed, repeated and rinsed and repeated again and again. Several times. Perfectionist much? Ugh. So, now I’m frustrated with myself. Why is this so hard for me? Argh!
And NOW, I’m taking the advice of the guides…RELAX. Don’t worry. This is a judgement free zone, there are no wrong answers, no one is grading etcetera etcetera (yep, I know that’s bad grammar and would be red-lined in Literature class. Guess what? This ain’t Literature class! YAY!! (I actually love literature class) But amen, hallelujah that I don’t have to worry about MLA citation here.
Anyhoo…here I go again. (not writing an essay)
I am beginning a journey with Master Key Experience. I’ve journeyed with some of the team before on a different journey and have manifested palpable, positive, enduring change in myself—that’s how I know I have magnificent allies.
This time they’ve brought even MORE allies to support and guide me: the Master Key team; all current students—a mix of alumni and freshman Master Key journeyers; my small tribe; and my one-on-one guide. I’ve never experienced anything like the previous journey with some of these people; I can’t fathom how amazing this journey will be!
I am so excited and terrified and hopeful and on and on and on.
But at the end of the day, I am dedicated to this journey and others are dedicated to me. What a phenomenal situation to find oneself in.
So this blog entry ends because…
So it begins…

Your close, Ramona, reminds me of a line from “Dover Beach” by Mathew Arnold, “And then again begin.” Wonderful! 🙂
Thank you for” the phenomenal situation to find oneself in.” And it begins…..
You really do have a way with words. I was swept away by the descriptive flow of your writing. I am pleased to be on this journey with you… and I am looking forward to reading more of your posts!
So it begins… Looking forward to seeing the end of the story!
What a delightful writer you are, Ramona! Thanks for sharing your hope and humor with our Master Mind. B R E A T H E! I love that you’ve learned this really is a “judgement free zone, there are no wrong answers, no one is grading.” Cheering you on!
