Wow, what a question. I love the fact this question has been added to my cards as I have previously added an affirmation I learnt while reading the book, The Monk who Sold his Ferrari. I affirm – I am more than I appear to be, I have the power, knowledge and skills inside of me.
Therefore the question, ‘what am, I pretending not to know’ adds an additional twist to what I have been telling myself for years. Do I believe the affirmation, to be fair I tend to say it when I catch my negative self talk.
This week on two occasions I started to get frustrated with IT, and reached out making calls to ask the ‘How to or How do I question?’ I put down the phone, took a deep breath and paused to think, I reverted to my affirmation and thought what am I pretending not to know. I was able to figure it out.
The premise behind the question for me, is the word ‘pretending’ because I do know more than I think. I am choosing not to revert to my old blueprint and pretend to live a life I am not happy with, I am pushing through. I believe OG Mandino when he say’s, I am natures greatest miracle and the miracle did not stop at my birth. I am not going to pretend I am happy living small, hiding my purpose and failing to help others.
I am with you, no more small talk. Thank you for your post.

Thanks for sharing. Isn’t it cool what a simple question like this can do in terms of impacting our daily actions?
