I was thinking who is Franklin and why Franklin? I dismissed the question and looked at the concept. I asked myself what was the asked/assignment?

I figured that I was triggering my RSA or it had something to do with RSA – Reticular Activating System. I have learned or heard about RSA in a round about way. The explanations at times started with the science (where it is or the length).

The explanations also refer to the senses or the RSA is connected to our subconscious. I have been in events where the speaker showed a clip, asked us to talk about it and nobody in the room had spotted the person walking amongst the people. The speaker spoke about it (what did we focused on) and I thought, yes I get it.

The Franklin Makeover adds to my level of understanding. I realised that on day one, actually before day one. I dreamt I was in a store and I picked up the last loaf of bread just before a lady reached out to pick it up. We looked at each other and I was thinking should I offer it to her, should I hand it over? We looked at each other, we then smiled and I offered it to the lady and she hugged me saying thank you and I hugged her back. I shared in an act of kindness.

The dream was so vivid, so I figured that would happen in real time when I enter a store the next day(s) or go to buy something. While out walking I saw an example of bad driving and I started to have a conversation in my head re bad drivers – do they have a licence, who taught them to drive – yes you get the tirade.

Then I thought not all drivers drive badly just like not all motorcyclist ignore the road code. When I flipped the switch and addressed the initial habitual thought I saw drivers were courteous, motorcyclist were driving in relation to the pace of traffic. In truth not all drivers were bad. This also extended to observing other acts of kindness. I did not pick up the last item in any store but I do love looking at and seeing so many acts of kindness.

The Franklin Makeover helps me address my thought habit. The Franklin Makeover encourages me to flip the switch and recognise not all drivers are bad, recognise the butterfly as well as the cocoons (yes battle shipping or ripple effect). The Franklin Makeover helps with my re-programming, it helps me address my intention(s).

What do I want to focus on, which in turn means what I focus on…… I attract.
