So a little confession for you guys. I have a rather healthy admiration for all things British. I love the culture, fashion, the history and of course the accents. I want to share with you guys one of my favorite quotes that one of my favorite British Actors shared years ago.

We are all given 2 lives. The second one starts when we realize there is only one.

I remember my reaction when I heard this said in a video interview he did for promoting one of the Marvel movies. I remember my reaction was like “Woah”. It really hit home for me. I knew then that I would live my best life as many people say. I just never really knew how to afford to. I do now!!

During our tribe meeting this week we were asked if anyone in our family has noticed any differences in us. We all answered no. Which is ok. While the outside world has not noticed, I can say for sure that I have noticed.

I notice that I am happier. I smile more. I laugh more. I enjoy the little things more. I even enjoy chores! (yes I know- crazy). I find myself reaching for my cards or binders when I find myself bored.

Enjoying conversation with people instead of dreading all the questions and not knowing how I was going to answer them. Being able to flip it so I am asking the questions instead of answering them is so much more fun!

With us coming up to the Christmas season and really focusing on things we are grateful for, I want to say that I am very Thankful and Grateful for the MKE experience.

I know that I have started my 2nd life and know without a shadow of a doubt that my life will be awesome because it will be exactly what I want it to be.
