Rollo May, the American psychologist and author, in his book Man’s Search for Himself, tells us that the opposite of courage, in our Society, is not cowardice – it is conformity! People act like everyone else, without knowing why! WOW!
In the past 13 weeks, with the guidance and instruction from The Master Key Experience I have been introduced to the thought of thinking for myself! To be a lion instead of a sheep. I have learned how to guide my thoughts, in an instant, from negative to positive. How to change a bad habit by replacing it with a good habit and how to turn a simple chore into a service that will continue to help others and myself for years to come – even after I am gone.
We become what we THINK about. I am done with the time that I have spent in my life thinking like everyone else. Now I am collecting the tools to realize that “thought is a spiritual activity and is therefore creative.” Charles Haanel tells us this in The Master Key. He goes on to say,
“Make no mistake, thought will create nothing unless it is consciously, systematically, and constructively directed.”
Charles Haanel, The Master Key, Part 13 – 23.
And so, I have learned how to be consciously systematic and constructive. Using a new blueprint just as a contractor would have received from his architect to build a new building on the site of an old, broken, useless building that had to be demolished because it had become an eyesore and no longer served its purpose.
It is an exciting time as I see small changes happening in my life that are directly connected to my DMP (Definite Major Purpose). Changes in how I feel (both physically and mentally), changes in my body, changes in how I treat myself and treat others who I meet daily.
I can see my confidence is growing. I have laid a good foundation for change, and now with the continued help of Mark J, the Fab Davene and their incredible MKE team it is time to get the crane and start lifting the beams and girders, afixing them to my new concrete foundation, put up the walls, run the new wires and pipes and secure a sturdy roof to protect my new building where I will live, grow and prosper for the next 20 years – or more!
Love that you see your confidence growing and your new building is underway!
