This time of year, is a wonderful opportunity take the time to be grateful for the blessings. Living in Canada, I have so many things to be grateful for including free healthcare, clean water, beautiful nature and the list goes on and on.
One of the exercises that we do as part of the Master Key course is writing on 3X5 cards the things that we are grateful for. When starting this process writing dozens of cards, over a few weeks, to start the process and then after that writing at least 3 or more cards every night.
I remember the first time I did the exercise during last year’s course. Such a great experience thinking of things I was grateful for. Wonderful to reminisce on what I wrote previously and re-experiencing the memories and emotions they evoke.
When in gratitude, I grow as I am focused on the positive and not the negative. So wonderful feeling good. There are many exercises as part of the course but having the tangibility of this exercise is extra great.
I also bring a stack of cards with me when out running errands. Lovely to pull them out and scroll through them while waiting and focusing on feeling good.
I love this along with journaling our gratitudes daily.
Keep adding them….
Wonderful, idea!
Great idea to incorporate reading your cards when you are doing your errands!
