Clearing space and planting seeds for new life.
I was amazed at how many blue rectangles and rectangle-ish things I found last week. This week’s object of red circles is much more of a challenge. Still, I am finding more every day. Im borrowing my baby’s small red ball as a reminder also.
My chore this week is to pull all the weeds from in front of the house. Which I did and then celebrated with cheers and a happy dance.
A hurricane rolled past us so we had a lot of rain the past few days. These were no ordinary weeds. They were over-grown into small trees! Some were actually taller than myself!
While down in the dirt, pulling up the ground cover I had the thought, that I was actually cleaning up my life. So I said to myself, “I’m doing it!” with joy in my heart. Repeating, do it now, do it now. Feeling pride for I knew what this chore was doing for me. It was a building block of confidence, building self-efficacy, and a blue print for a successful life.
Later, Richie and I left for a stroller walk in the park that is across the street from our house. He let me know how good it looked out front. Which was so nice to hear. “Thank you. I intend to do even more work on it.”, I told him. “On the inside, front yard.”
We have a wall around the yard. I also trimmed our tall bushes. If I knew how good it would feel to get these things done, I might have done them a long time ago. Hahaha.

Love the self reflection on planting seeds and pulling out weeds.
I love how you are embracing the masterkey journey. Keep it up!
Wow Allie, thanks for sharing! This is such a great feeling! So happy for all the empowerment this is giving you.
yes, sir. I completely agree with you. thank you.
Kirstan not Kirston. My eyesight is not what it used to be. LOL 🙂
Kirston, needless to say relying on a little elbow grease is a lot better than weed killer — inside or out! Great blog! 🙂
Sounds like you’re on it. Completing your chore and making connections. Very cool!
Congrats Kirstan – so happy you enjoyed your celebration. Bonus – you linked clearing the physical weeds outside with clearing your mental ones too….bravo!!
