It is TRUTH – when you embark on change, there will be turmoil.
It makes sense if you are making change to a system, procedure, business…but if you are pursuing internal, personal change, one would think that external turmoil would not be a factor.
But this week has been tumultuous! First, it is tax deadline week – and unlike the April deadlines, there are no extensions in October! Throw in medical appointments for me and my daughter and we’ll call LIFE, Tumult.
But the great news is that the regimen of the readings, although part of the stressors, has also created a structure that I’m building – just for me! There is satisfaction and peace in the study time. It is my commitment to growing myself to the next level of self and success.
My DMP has been an enormous struggle – our friend, Mark J., told me early in the Stand Tall class that blues must work harder at the visualization of our future self.
I get it, but it kind of ticks my (secondary) red-self off. But that’s another story!
Here’s to an amazing next week…having survived not somehow, but triumphantly!!

Hi Geri, Thanks for sharing that you are feeling “satisfaction and peace” as you implement the new skills of the MKE.
Geri, enjoyed your post this week! As a fellow “blue” I appreciate the insight you received from Mark, “Blues must work harder at the visualization of our future self.” Celebrate your victory!
