It is amazing what repeating “I always keep my promises. ~ Peggy Bendell” can do to/for you!
It helped me keep focused even when the week hasn’t gone as I had hoped.
It has been such a crazy week that it seems that Friday came too early. On with my blog!
This is a week of lots on my plate and it wasn’t until late Wednesday that I began keeping my promised ‘chore’. I think I bet off more than I could chew but by saying “I always….” I am committed to continuing.
Last week we had a beautiful, warm autumn. A week of getting up to 15 C temperatures and mid afternoons of 27 C to 30 C. Sunday we woke up to 3 C and a high of 3 C. What a contrast. Oh and lots of rain – with a splash of white stuff as it hit the windshield.
This was a week for planning and booking trips. Medical flight to Toronto and a trip to Calgary for my husband to see his sister in Calgary. Our prayer is that she will still be alive when he goes in December.
I am looking forward to singing with the Timmins Concert Singers this Saturday. We are the guest of the Newfoundland group, the Ennis Sisters. We are joining them for 5 songs which is exciting. Then we prepare for our Christmas Concert the end of November.

Your participation in the Timmins Concert Singers’ performance with the Ennis Sisters sounds delightful. Music has a unique way of bringing people together and creating beautiful moments. Singing alongside a talented group and being a part of such special performances must bring immense joy and fulfillment. As you prepare for your Christmas Concert in November, may the harmony of your voices resonate with the spirit of the season, spreading warmth and joy to everyone who listens.
You DO have a lot on your plate! Good job on keeping your promises to yourself and getting your blog in on time! You are rocking this:) I love that you still had time to appreciate the fall colours and pray for your sister-in-law.
Thank you for sharing how “I always…” keeps you committed. I find the same for me. Let’s keep going!
Peggy!
Your talks of fall make me grateful I was able to see the colour leaves last week in Vancouver!!
I will keep in my prayers your husband and sister reunite later this year.
Enjoy the concert 🙏❤️
