Around 8 years ago, my daughter moved to Florida with her mother. She and I were pretty close. So, needless to say, I wasn’t thrilled. Shortly after she arrived there, she had shared the Polo app with me as a way that she and I could interact in a fun way and so we Did!

When I joined MKE and heard that we were going to be utilizing Marco Polo, I was intrigued. What this? Oh, so I am going to have video conversations on a regular basis? Interesting.

And so, it began with Daniel-son, Patti, Diane, Sandra, Jason, Pedro, myself, part-time Nancy and our Fearless Leader, Brad! We had a lot of fun navigating the app and the MKE.

I liken it to a clubhouse. Once Mark sets us loose on Sunday evenings, Polo is where we went for guidance, questions, to feel some normalcy, to laugh, to cry, to voice, to listen, to watch, to share, etc

Last Month, we were told that another Tribe would be joining ours and Instantly, we doubled in size with folks like Juli, Randy, Val and a bunch of others who we don’t see. So, its been fun! We get a peek into each others lives.

I’ve shared my humor and wit as well as thoughts, questions, quandaries, concerns. Jason has shared progress on his house and property. We got to see Patti transition from Florida to South Carolina.

We got to see the beauty of the UK thru Sandra and then we got to watch her transition to Jamaica which was of course, was more beautiful! And we even got to see what Pedro and his wife cook up for the holidays.

It’s all about the share and I would venture to say that I believe that Marco Polo is as important as anything else in the MKE.

So, as you continue on your MKE journey, lean on your Polo, give to your Polo and even if you’re down, you can go to your Polo to get the support you need, it’s your Club House, maybe it’s your Cheers! But NEVER underestimate The Power of the Polo!!
