As usual this week’s material from Charles Haanel is filled with a plethora of wisdom, knowledge, and inspiration.

Inspiration is the art of imbibing; the art of self-realization; the art of adjusting the individual mind to that of the Universal Mind; the art of attaching the power mechanism to the source of all power; the art of differentiating the formless into form; the art of becoming a channel for the flow of Infinite Wisdom; the art of visualizing perfection; the art of realizing the omnipresence of Omnipotence.

I will unpack some of the aspects of this powerful statement.

First of all, Haanel uses the word “art” eight times. The definition of the word art that I feel is meant here is the skill acquired by experience, study, or observation.

Are we not encouraged to be observant of ourselves and our surroundings so that we can experience the best life ever in this course of study? The word also implies becoming proficient or skillful in some activity or pursuit. Are we not asked to repeat certain activities in MKE so that we can be proficient and skillful in activating major change in our blueprint?

Then I was piqued by the word imbibing. My initial thought was in relation to the drinking of liquor or spirits. However, upon further investigation, to imbibe means to receive and absorb into the mind. Are we not in the process of receiving and absorbing new information, forming new habits, in order to use our minds more efficiently?

Further on Haanel mentioned the term self-realization. For me this means awakening and aligning our consciousness to the higher vibration and energy of Spirit. It is an inside job and meditation or spending time in silence, as we are instructed to do on a daily basis, is crucial for the development of self-realization.

Next the author inspired us to allow Infinite Wisdom to flow through us. Every day we encounter people and situations that may block our willingness to channel wisdom–if we let them. Are we not encouraged to forgive and release resentments in order to fully experience a joyful life? Remember it’s the venom not the snake bite that kills.

Lastly, Haanel wants us to realize the Truth that God, Divine Love, Universal Mind, no matter what label you choose to give it, is ever present. Realizing this gives me much comfort and knowing that I am a unique expression of Universal Mind is simply amazing!

May we all continue to be inspired to grow all the arts Haanel shared with us in this paragraph so that we can realize our wondrous Infinite Potential. We have the Power!
