I was not sure last week if I would be here this week. I was so confused and frustrated. I continued to get everything organized and it made all the difference.

I have always been a habitual procrastinator. I heard Mark say in one of the videos that if you continued with the program that it will rid you of procrastination. Now THAT I heard, loud and clear!

So, this week with the homework of scheduling a “chore” that we had wanted to get done for a while and the “Do It Now” exercise, it really changed it up for me. I am scheduled to get my chore done by Sunday; however, I have taken care of a couple other items that have been hanging over my head.

Even though I do not get a lot of snail mail these days, I had a pile sitting, waiting to be opened for at least a few months! I took care of that today. When the mail came this afternoon, I heard a voice say “DO IT NOW”! So, instead of putting the unopened mail on the table – I opened it and took care of it right away.

It reminded me of something that I had learned a long time ago but obviously had forgotten – “Handle everything only once!” Such a little thing but also such a huge accomplishment for me. I also filed 6 months of paperwork and receipts for my business.

Normally I would have waited to next April 1st to do that. WHY did I do this??? WHY did I do this this week??? I think we all have an idea why! I am very excited about celebrating when completing my chore and celebrating for those other smaller items which are now complete.

Getting back, my DMP was great with all the suggested reworks. I need to spend more time thinking in the present. It is a process and I am making progress!
